Newpol is delighted to be constructing the Year 7 & 8 Precinct at Salesian College’s Mannix Campus, in collaboration with McIldowie Partners.
The campus will be fully vacated to allow Newpol to occupy the site, which will accelerate the overall program and enable us to hand over the $13.8M project as one stage.
The scope includes the construction of a brand-new Year 7 Centre and a refurbishment of the existing building — to become the Year 8 Centre. The new facilities will feature general-purpose learning areas, specialised science rooms, and gathering spaces. A Bosco's Well Garden will connect the two centres.
Building into a significant embankment will add complexity and require a multi-stage retention system, utilising bored piers and precast concrete.
