Newpol were engaged to construct Bellarine Secondary College’s brand-new VCE Centre, valued at $7.1M. The Yani Inj Ngitj (Later Years) Centre incorporates science and technology laboratories, an arts studio, seminar rooms, and collaborative learning spaces. The student hub at the west of the build includes a kitchen, communal and quiet study areas. The striking design features vaulted ceilings, pinboard walls, clerestory windows, and bespoke joinery; creating a spacious and light-filled learning environment with optimum acoustic performance. Externally, 3,000m2 of hard landscaping was completed, including an amphitheatre, seating for outdoor learning, and a bus shelter relocation.
